About the internship/job:
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement 2. Manage all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, and Instagram 3. Plan content and delivery and use tools to manage multiple social media channels 4. Develop and manage competitions and campaigns that promote the organization and brand 5. Write engaging blog posts and articles 6. Create engaging multimedia content such as videos, and/or outsource this effectively 7. Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms 8. Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions 9. Monitor and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics 10. Manage junior staff such as a social media executive or assistant 11. Educate other staff on the use of social media and promote its use within your company (in-house roles)
